CICADA was founded with a singular vision: to build the most robust and precise infrastructure for algorithmic trading in digital assets. Our name is inspired by the natural lifecycle of the cicada — an organism that undergoes years of silent development beneath the surface, emerging only when fully formed and highly capable. It reflects the philosophy that drives our team: deep focus, deliberate engineering, and impactful execution.

Originally established as a private initiative by quantitative engineers, system architects, and liquidity specialists, CICADA focused from the outset on solving the hard problems of latency, liquidity, and execution reliability in emerging digital markets. What began as an internal trading system has grown into a full-stack ecosystem for institutional-grade crypto infrastructure.

From low-level protocol integrations and bespoke algorithmic strategies to data analytics and trading UIs, our solutions are battle-tested and continuously evolving. As we expanded, we made a strategic decision to license our IP exclusively to qualified partners — enabling scale without compromising on control or quality.

Today, CICADA is not a front-facing fintech brand. We are the underlying engine behind the operations of specialized market participants — providing tools, infrastructure, and strategies that power real value, while staying behind the scenes.
